Last time I was in FL, I snagged all of Grandma’s Sinatra cassettes from her old car (she isn’t using them...), so I did a little driving with the Chairman of the Board.
Then, listened to the Sinatra-themed “This American Life”, because I’m a filthy godless pinko liberal with a hemp public radio tote bag.

Not really.
Dude was in the mafia; nowadays they’re called “terrorist organizations.” What if he was around today? The only difference about Sinatra is that he wasn’t black and wasn’t a muslim.
His famous quote “you get a Ferrari when you want to be somebody, and a Lamborghini when you are somebody” says it all. Outside of Hudson County, Lambos are much easier to acquire; you can’t buy a new Ferrari unless you already have one.

Yeah. I took a break from my normal Rednek station.
It’s Frank. You have to.

Technically, the mafia’s aim was not political (or, if political power was in the plans, it was as a means to economic interests). So, mafias would be “organized crime”. Still, all of your later critique could easily be reframed in the context of the handwringing that surrounds artists in other genres with similarly-complicated backgrounds.
On the Lambo quote: Meh. If mattering to the House of Ferrari means that much to you, I guess that says it all.

What the fuck are you even on about?

Personally, I don’t really pine for the prancing horse, although I do want a Mondial. What if Sinatra had lived to see the Gallardo, which changed everything about Lambo.

Mafias aren't terrorist organizations. They're organized crime, same as street gangs. Terrorism is specifically political, organized crime is typically either economical or territorial.

I watched a couple of Sinatra biographies and got drunk.
I win.

If you don’t drive with one elbow on the door, you aren’t cool enough to hang with Frank.
Three generations of I-talian-Americans: this is how I learned to drive.

Thanks! You win a Sinatra in a car as partial payment
and what a beautiful car it is.
